A couple of weeks before the famed iPad launch, Apple is only starting to accept applications for the iPad from a handful of developers. Due to the added secrecy of the iPad, developers who really did made it possible to produce an iPad app in this couple of weeks would surely amass riches due to the added possibility of being the top app in App store.
To ensure that it can’t be removed, the iPad must also remain tethered to a fixed object, said the people, who asked not to be named because their plans for the iPad have not been made public. Apple won’t send out an iPad until potential partners send photographic evidence that they’ve complied.
As quoted from www.businessweek.com, Apple is really secretive about their new toy. Anyone who is vying to release an app for iPad before the launching of iPad at April 3rd should do so before March 27.

iPad looks like stellar technology. I can’t wait to see how creative the 3rd parties get with the new apps. Apple is doing it right by limiting development. Its all about quality.
Guess it’s one of the marketing schemes used by Apple to increase sales – more hype over their new products.
